"Jami Lula's music is more than a shiver-inducing experience in sound, it is inspiration itself as an offering just to you. What I love about Jami's improvisational textures is the intimacy he exudes through his personal intensity, which comes from a direct relationship with life, his love of it, and of humanity." - Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith

Naked

This record was a labor of Love. It was completed within the year of the passing of Jami's older brother Mike Lula. Jami went into this record wanting to do something producer Michael "Coach" Gayle had been suggesting for a couple years. a guitar, a vocal mic and a couple of mic's on the acoustic guitar and go on now. Do this thing! And, for the most part, that's the way it went down. Jami in a booth guitar in hand singing from the depth of his soul. Top to bottom played in the studio as is. A live show without an audience. Jami Say's "I love this record because it's honest, it's raw, it's got an edge even as a mellow record. This record is dedicated to Mike Lula and Sam Murray My big brother and my little brother taken too soon To my wife Suzi and my son William for giving me the wings to fly
